Short version of backstory: Cam and her sister, Amy are playing in the treehouse in their backyard. The tree is unstable and falls down, killing Amy and injuring Cam's arm so much she needs it amputated. She also hit her head very hard, and got brain damage. The part of her brain that makes her empathize with people is damaged and she starts hurting small animals, eventually killing the family dog and burying it in the yard. After realizing that this might not of been the smartest thing to do, she catches a train to the city and runs away, leaving her family behind with no explanation. She continues killing in the big city for a while, until she runs into Jeff the Killer. They argue over the same victim for a while, but Jeff realizes that Cam may be helpful to the CP Family, and takes her to the mansion. Slender makes her a proxy.
